Cost:

*A $50 non-refundable Application Fee will be assessed upon registration. If accepted to participate in the combine, then you will be required to pay the balance within 1 week of your acceptance. Failure to pay the remaining balance within the 1 week of acceptance, will cause you to lose your application fee and position.  

Unlike most combines your registration fee will cover almost all of your expenses except air and ground transportation to and from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Overnight participant – $375 (Increases to $450 after November 17th) – Includes 2 night hotel stay, uniform set (jersey, shorts, and socks), online player profile, three matches in front of pro coaches, video of all match footage & access to our professional club network, player’s dinner, evaluations, and an opportunity to win the combine cash prize for MVP at $750.

Day participant – $299 (Increases to $350 after November 17th) – uniform set (jersey, shorts, and socks), online player profile, three matches in front of pro coaches, video of all match footage & access to our professional club network, player’s dinner, evaluations, and an opportunity to win the combine cash prize for MVP at $750.

*All graduating college players with zero eligibility remaining, and post-college players are eligible to win the Most Valuable Player Cash Award of $750. Players with college eligibility are not eligible.

The Lotto Club America Pro Combine in partnership with the Krahling Sports Agency will enter into its inaugural year with high expectations to draw interest from top professional prospects and professional clubs from MLS, NASL, & USL as they look to improve upon their rosters for the 2018 season.

 

Facility

The Lotto Club America Combine in partnership with the Krahling Sports Agency will be hosted at the Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The venue is a state of the art facility that has hosted the Major League Soccer College Professional Combine in previous years and former home of the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers, North American Soccer League club. After $70 million of renovations, the park boasts a stadium field, and three 11 v 11 fields, with stadium grandstands for optimal viewing purposes.

FAQs

What additional costs do I need to cover?

The only expenses that you will need to cover are your travels to and from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For ground transportation, we have partnered with Uber to provide you with a discount code to travel to and from the facilities. The hotel is only 4 miles from the field round trip, so ground transportation will be nominal.

When should I arrive?

Overnight participants are required to arrive at the hotel for check-in by noon on Friday, December 8th. Day participants must check-in at the field at least 1 hour prior to the start of their first combine training session.

What professional clubs will be attending the event?

Every professional club in North America (MLS, NASL, & USL) will be invited to the event along with a handful of international clubs in our network.

How much time in front of scouts will I receive?

Each participant will participate in one 1.5 hour training session, one 1 hour speed and agility training session, and play in two, 90-minute matches. Professional scouts, coaches, and agents will be in attendance for all 4 player events.

Where is the hotel & can I share a room with another player?

The Embassy Suites by Hilton on 17th street is located 4 miles from Central Broward Regional Park. Included in your registration fee is the cost of your hotel, and since your room will be a suite, the hotel can accommodate up to 4 players in each room. If you would like to make a special room request, please email Justin Reid (jreid@lottosoccer.com) and he will add you to the correct rooming list.

What meals are provided?

Complimentary breakfast is provided on Saturday and Sunday mornings. A combine dinner will be provided on Saturday evening.

What style of uniform will we wear?

The event will be sponsored by our apparel company Lotto Club America. We will have 4 teams participating and will provide 4 different colors. On field attire and dinner attire from any other sporting brand will be prohibited.

What makes the Lotto Club America (LCA) in partnership with the Krahling Sports Agency (KSA) combine different?

Our combine is very player centric and unique in 5 ways.

  1. We value quality over quantity. There are 61 combine spots available (5-7 spots per position). In addition, we have 11 spots known as the “KSA picks”. Not many combines are associated with an established sporting agency like the KSA who currently has over 30 players playing in MLS, USL, and NASL. In trusting in the KSA, 11 players, one per position, will be hand picked to participate in the event, maxing our combine participants to 72 (or 18 players per team).
  2. Professional scouts will have access to training, speed and agility, and games without overlaps.
  3. We will carry 18 players on each team’s roster to maximize the amount of time that you have to be evaluated.
  4. We offer a Most Valuable Player cash prize of $750. As a professional, contracts are filled with incentives and bonuses are earned when milestones have been reached. The MVP award will be no different.
  5. Each player will receive video footage from each game to use for their highlight reels. We also have access to videographers who can put together highlight films for a nominal fee upon request.

How are players selected for the event?

Players are vetted intensely to ensure quality over quantity. Players will be selected to the Combine based on their Technique-Intelligence-Personality-Speed (TIPS) criteria. Furthermore, the following data will be examined: player’s date of birth, foreign vs. domestic status, dominant foot, positional play and playing history. During the application process players will also be asked to submit 3 recommendations/references and provide recent video footage (full length matches + highlight video), which will be analyzed in the player screening process.

What are the closest major airport & what transportation is provided at the event?

For players who are flying in for the combine, the closest major airport is the Fort-Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL) which is 20-25 minutes from the Central Broward Regional Park and Embassy Suites Hotel by Hilton. Discount codes will be offered through Uber to travel to & from the airport.

The Lotto/KSA Pro Soccer Combine is excited to announce a partnership with the Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale. All hotel accommodations are included in the combine fees for overnight campers. In addition, complimentary breakfast and a shuttle service to & from the Embassy Suites to Central Broward Regional Park. Combine Staff

Justin Reid – Combine Director and Director of Finance and Marketing

Reid is currently the Managing Director of the Reid Group of Companies owner and operator of QuickFeet Soccer Training, a MD, DC, VA company and Lotto Club America. Reid previously worked as International Business Development for the Krahling Sports Agency, where he met Brian Krahling. A former college soccer player at the University of Delaware, Reid aspired to pursue a career in professional soccer, however, fell short of completing that dream. He continues to inspire players and make personal connections in the professional soccer industry.

Brian Krahling – KSA Founder, Agent, and Director of Media & Sponsorships

Krahling, a Veteran of the US Army and former college soccer player, founded the Krahling Sports Agency, a full service management agency based in Baltimore, MD offering representative services to professional soccer players and clubs in 2011. Since, he has represented over 30 USL players, and dozens of MLS and NASL players. MLS players the likes of current FC Dallas right-back Hernan Grana in a previous move from Boca Juniors to Columbus Crew SC, and current Vancouver Whitecaps’ Kyle Greig.

Myron Garnes – Talent Scout & Combine Head Coach

Garnes is the current Technical Director of the St. Mary’s Soccer Club based in St. Mary’s County, MD. With over 35 years of playing and coaching soccer at the highest levels, Garnes holds a USSF “A” License, NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma, and several National Youth License certificates.  A former Manchester United Schoolboy player, Garnes grew up in the Watford Boarding School in the United Kingdom, and was offered a contract to play with Manchester United’s 1st team in 1974 before a career ending knee injury. Garnes has since spent over 35+ years in the youth and professional soccer industries and in 2016 coached IFK Maryland of the American Soccer League.

Greg Harris – Combine Speed & Agility Trainer

Greg Harris, Owner of 3D Speed has over 21 years of experience specializing in strength, speed and agility, flexibility, rehab and post rehab training. Clientele ranges from professional, collegiate, high school and premier soccer league programs. Harris holds a personal training certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine & Combine 360. His motto is: “Training is intense, competition is fierce and where it hurts to be the best”.
